Please join us Saturday, March 8th, 2008 at the Arizona Golf Resort in Mesa for "Furry Tails Can Come True 2008" benfiting Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary. 

The evening will begin with a fantastic silent auction featuring jewlery, spa & resort packages, golf packages, celebrity autographed items and much more, a delicious meal prepared by the Arizona Golf Resort's culinary experts, and live entertainment courtesy of the Kopy Kats band.  The evening will conclude with honoring Internationally recognized animal artist Ron Burns and his wife Buff Burns, and of course an exciting live auction, with Chuck Drago, the voice of the Diamondbacks acting as auctioneer.

You can also purchase raffle tickets to win a wine trunk valued at over $250.  The trunk contains an assortment of 12 bottles of wine, each valued at a minimum of $20.00.  Winner need not be present to win.

Friends for Life requires $15,000 per month to provide the basics of rescue resources, food, shelter and medical attention for the animals, with medical expenses being our largest expense. Furry Tails Can Come True raises the funds to sustain our operations through the hot summer months when fundraising opportunities are at their lowest, but the animals are in greatest need of rescue; such as Talia who was rescued in July of 2007 thanks to funds raised at Furry Tails Can Come True 2007. 

Workers at a construction site had been leaving food for Talia for months, but had been unable to catch her.
